Fresh water directly into the local water system

Drinking water can be supplied directly by a fixed pipeline into the existing infrastructure. Alternatively, the water can be directed to large coastal customers such as power stations.

Because this fresh water goes directly into the local water system the pressure on natural local water supplies is

alleviated. Traditional water extraction from rivers and
reservoirs can be reduced giving damaged environments a
chance to recover and therefore substantially improving the
quality of life for people living in the area.
