The Blue Source solution is to go straight to the heart of the problem and provide mobile desalination plants. These units are scalable and can be deployed on or off-shore in coastal regions where there is a risk to the supply of fresh water.
Up to now this idea has not been fully exploited due to lack of flexibility and cost. The great advantage with these units is their mobility and potential to share the costs. These mobile units allow for fast delivery of up to 150 million litres of drinking water per day. This is how it works. |
